We accept a variety of insurance plans and are available for phone consultations for clients located out of town. Jessica Reed, LCSW

Educational Background

Jessica earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Puget Sound in Asian Studies and Ceramics. She studied at the University of Wisconsin, Madison earning her masters in Clinical Social Work and Mental Health and was graduated in 2005.

Areas of Specialty & Therapeutic Approach

Jessica is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who supports all ages and specializes in child, adolescent, and family issues. Depending on the assessment and voiced needs of the individual or family, she utilizes many different social/emotional/behavioral approaches including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprogramming (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Social Thinking Methodology, Hakomi Experiential Psychotherapy, and Play Therapy.

Outside the office, Jessica enjoys riding her bike as well as coaching various Durango DEVO teams, including push bikes, Jr DEVO, U14, Everypedal, and Nordic skiing. She has lived in Durango since 2005 and enjoys hiking, biking, camping and hanging out with her husband Jonathan and daughter Pema.

Lindsay Stonecash-Bauer, LCSW

Educational Background

Lindsay earned her undergraduate degree in 2005 from Fort Lewis College in Sociology and Gender and Women’s Studies. She attended graduate school at Smith College School for Social Work and completed her clinical internships at University of New Mexico Programs for Children and Adolescents and at the New Mexico VA in Albuquerque. She received her masters in Clinical Social Work in 2013.

Areas of Specialty & Therapeutic Approach

Lindsay is a licensed clinical social worker and provides therapeutic services for children, adolescents, and their families. Lindsay has an academic foundation in psychodynamic theories and she uses a variety of treatment approaches depending on the concerns and needs of the individual and family. She is comfortable working with issues related to anxiety, depression, autism spectrum, education and learning, attachment, family changes, loss and grief, and trauma. She has training in play therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprogramming (EMDR). She aims to provide culturally responsive social/emotional support and trauma-informed care to clients.

Lindsay has lived in Durango since 2002 and enjoys spending time outdoors and with her partner Jon Paul and their toddler twins.
